Gründungsfest der «Schweizerischen Allianz gegen den Hunger»
Samstag, 14.10.2006, 9.30 –17.30, Münsterplatz, BernAnlässlich des
Welternährungstages 2006 wird die «Schweizerische Allianz gegen den Hunger» gegründet.
VertreterInnen aus Politik, Kultur und von Hilfswerken werden sich mit kurzen
Ansprachen zum Thema Hunger ans Publikum wenden. Die Veranstaltung steht unter dem
Motto «Brot». Der Schweizerische Bäcker- und Konditorenmeister-
Verband organisiert zum Auftakt ein Frühstück. Verschiedene Organisationen werden an
Ständen Projekte präsentieren. Für künstlerische und musikalische Unterhaltung sorgen
u.a. Heinrich Gartentor, das Konservatorium für Musik, Salsa cubana, Asita Hamidi und
Mich Gerber. Ein Gottesdienst im Münster beschliesst das Fest und um 18h15 brennen
unzählige Kerzen zum Gedenken an die Hungernden dieser Welt.
